Renowned illustrator Bill Slavin joins us as MCHS’s special guest for Heritage Week 2024.

He will talk about his take on the past, views on the present, and how history informs his work and fascinates him in his spare time.

Bill Slavin is an accomplished illustrator, author, and comic book artist; he has illustrated dozens of books and has been nominated for and won just about as many awards. Bill and his partner, Esperanca Melo, who is also an artist, live in Cavan Monaghan.

Admission to this event is free for Millbrook and Cavan Historical Society members; guests are admitted by donation. There is a cash bar available for refreshments.
