This November marks the centenary of the signing of the Armistice to end “the war to end all wars”.  The Historical Society is partnering with the Cavan Monaghan Library to show the docu-drama ‘Black Watch Snipers’, about a Canadian sniper platoon in WW2.   Former Millbrook resident Robin Bicknell earned a Canadian Screen award nomination in 2018 for her direction.   This event takes place as part of the library’s Movie Night series at the Old Millbrook School, 1 Dufferin Street.  Admission: a toonie, for the library.
